Terms and Condition

1. Enrollment & Fees

  1. Enrollment is confirmed once all required registration forms are completed and the $55 security deposit has been received.
  2. Enrollment operates on a monthly commitment unless a bulk package has been purchased.
  3. Monthly fees are due at the beginning of each month and must be paid via credit card.
  4. A $50 Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) fee will be applied to any declined card transaction.
  5. Once your program selections are finalized, management will provide written confirmation of your monthly or package fee. You agree to pay this fee as scheduled. Any fee adjustments thereafter must be mutually agreed upon by both parties.

2. Attendance & Withdrawal

  1. Regular attendance supports your child’s learning and program continuity.
  2. Missed days, absences, closures due to weather, or emergency circumstances are non-refundable.
  3. A 30-day written notice prior to the upcoming month is required for withdrawal from the program.
  4. Failure to provide the required notice may result in the following month’s fees being charged.

3. Health & Safety

  1. Children exhibiting symptoms of illness must be kept at home. The Centre reserves the right to request pick-up if a child becomes unwell during the day.
  2. We adhere to local health, hygiene, and safety protocols to maintain a clean and secure environment.
  3. Pickup is permitted only by individuals authorized on the child’s file. Photo identification will be verified at pickup for student safety.
  4. In the event of an emergency, the Centre will follow established emergency procedures and may contact emergency services if necessary.
  5. Parents/guardians must update the Centre promptly with any changes to contact information, authorized pickup lists, or medical details.

4. Personal Items

  1. All personal belongings must be labeled with the child’s name.
  2. The Centre is not responsible for lost, damaged, or misplaced items.
  3. Children should not bring valuable or unnecessary items from home unless requested for program use.

5. Behaviour & Conduct

  1. We promote a respectful, inclusive, and cooperative learning environment.
  2. Families are expected to support Centre policies to ensure a positive experience for all students.
  3. The Centre reserves the right to discontinue enrollment if a child’s behaviour, despite reasonable interventions, consistently disrupts the learning environment or poses safety concerns.

6. Liability

  1. While the Centre takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of children, My First Learning Centre and any affiliated entities are not responsible for injuries that may occur during normal, supervised activities.
  2. Parents/guardians acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with children’s play and participation in learning activities.

7. Policy Acceptance

  1. By enrolling your child, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by all Terms and Conditions of My First Learning Centre.
  2. The Centre reserves the right to update or amend policies as needed. Families will be notified of any changes.
