STEAM INNOVATORS LAB
(Grades 1 – 12)
Hands-On Exploration for Young Creators and Problem-Solvers
Our STEAM Innovators Lab offers in-person, hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) learning experiences designed to spark curiosity and ignite a passion for discovery.
Each session focuses on a specific STEAM skill, concept, or exploratory activity, allowing students to experiment, create, and grow in a fun, interactive environment.
What To Expect?
Skill-Focused Sessions
Each class highlights a specific STEM skill, hobby, or project—allowing students to dive into robotics, engineering, science experiments, coding basics, or hands-on builds that spark curiosity and imagination.
Interactive, Hands-On Learning
Students learn through doing. Every session includes experiments, problem-solving challenges, and collaborative projects that build understanding and creativity.
Encouraging, Creative Environment
The lab is designed to be a safe and inspiring space where students feel comfortable exploring ideas, making mistakes, asking questions, and trying again.
Who Is This Program For?
STEAM Innovators Lab is perfect for children who love to explore, create, and experiment—or anyone who wants to build confidence in STEAM concepts through hands-on learning.
All sessions are held in person every weekend at My First Learning Centre.
What Your Child Will Learn
Depending on the theme of each session, your child may explore basic engineering and building concepts, engage in scientific inquiry and hands-on experimentation, be introduced to coding, robotics, or simple circuits, develop creative design, tinkering, and innovation skills, and cultivate essential STEAM habits such as questioning, testing, observing, and revising.
